Of the thermal energy, the most significant portion is radiant heat, which accounts for up to 75%, but "R Foil" reflects 97% of that radiant heat. Crush the air cap section at the top of the rafters with roll nails or a push pin. 3. Attach the battens to the top of the rafters. 4. Apply one row of roof plywood. 5.
